BookNook is expanding our program across the country and we’re excited to add a support coordinator to help support families, educators, and volunteers. The support coordinator will gain experience working for a fast-growing EdTech company that is making a real difference. Candidates should be passionate about education and have experience working within the support and/or technology field.

At BookNook You Will:

• Communicate with families and educators to support the success of remote tutoring sessions
• Communicate with families and volunteers to coordinate remote tutoring sessions using BookNook at designated times
• Use support platforms to provide help via tickets, phone, or live chat
• Understand the flow and process of tutoring sessions to best troubleshoot issues that users experience
• Supervise groups of volunteers as they work with students remotely via video conferencing platform (ie Zoom)
• Collaborate with BookNook supervisor and staff to ensure students participating in the program receive high-quality tutoring session
• Other duties as assigned

You are a good fit for this role if you have:

• Experience in a support role
• Previous experience with volunteers
• Knowledge of remote learning
• Ability to understand technical terminology and software including Zendesk, Zoom, and other platforms used to support our users
