Schedule
- Position type: Part-time, remote (work from home)
- Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 1:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. EST
- Location: Remote within the United States
- Team: Shared Services Contact Center (provider-facing support)
Responsibilities
- Serve as a first point of contact for healthcare providers via phone, chat, email, and fax.
- Answer and resolve questions related to:
- Claims and payments
- Explanation of Benefits (EOB) questions
- Provider enrollment and credentialing status
- Eligibility and benefits verification
- Network participation and plan details
- Provider portal access and troubleshooting
- Research issues using internal systems and tools, and provide clear, accurate answers.
- Document all interactions thoroughly and accurately to support compliance and continuity.
- Ensure providers receive a smooth, respectful, and supportive experience in every interaction.
- Work independently during weekend hours while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare contact center or customer service role.
- Knowledge of Medicare claims, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, or Medicaid preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a calm, supportive demeanor.
- Comfortable navigating multiple systems and screens while assisting providers.
- Excellent organization, follow-through, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision on weekends.
