Schedule

  • Position type: Part-time, remote (work from home)
  • Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 1:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. EST
  • Location: Remote within the United States
  • Team: Shared Services Contact Center (provider-facing support)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a first point of contact for healthcare providers via phone, chat, email, and fax.
  • Answer and resolve questions related to:
    • Claims and payments
    • Explanation of Benefits (EOB) questions
    • Provider enrollment and credentialing status
    • Eligibility and benefits verification
    • Network participation and plan details
    • Provider portal access and troubleshooting
  • Research issues using internal systems and tools, and provide clear, accurate answers.
  • Document all interactions thoroughly and accurately to support compliance and continuity.
  • Ensure providers receive a smooth, respectful, and supportive experience in every interaction.
  • Work independently during weekend hours while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare contact center or customer service role.
  • Knowledge of Medicare claims, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, or Medicaid preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a calm, supportive demeanor.
  • Comfortable navigating multiple systems and screens while assisting providers.
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision on weekends.
