Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM ET
- 100% remote (U.S. based)
What You’ll Do
- Educate patients on payment options and financial assistance programs
- Verify insurance coverage and ensure accounts are billing-ready
- Document, report, and collect patient payments accurately
- Coordinate with clinics and insurance companies for smooth processing
- Negotiate and set up patient payment arrangements
- Review and process forms while ensuring compliance with policies and HIPAA regulations
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Less than 1 year of experience required; medical office, call center, or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of medical billing/coding (ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPC/CPT) helpful
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and billing systems
