Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle credentialing and re-credentialing for physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Verify licenses, certifications, education, training, and work history.
- Track expirations to ensure seamless renewals and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date credentialing files, databases, and systems.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, NCQA, and state/federal standards.
- Prepare reports for leadership and regulatory agencies.
- Communicate with providers, accreditation organizations, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in credentialing, healthcare administration, or related fields.
- Knowledge of credentialing processes and healthcare compliance standards.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Proficiency in credentialing databases and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
