What You’ll Do
- Answer incoming calls (and chats) and place outbound calls as needed in a professional, timely, courteous manner
- Identify the reason for the call and accurately document details in ASH proprietary systems
- Look up caller information and provide benefit info and assistance with problem resolution
- Route cases needing additional research to the correct department
- Use online and internal resources to deliver accurate answers quickly
- Manage time to meet call answer and follow-up timeframes
- Meet or exceed key performance expectations for the role
- Complete required trainings on time and attend weekly team meetings
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all legal, compliance, and company policies
- Handle additional duties as assigned
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of customer service experience (inbound call center experience preferred)
- Basic computer skills and comfort navigating multiple systems during one interaction
- Strong verbal communication and active listening
- Ability to stay organized, prioritize, multitask, and manage constant interruptions
- Discretion and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
