What You’ll Do

  • Answer incoming calls (and chats) and place outbound calls as needed in a professional, timely, courteous manner
  • Identify the reason for the call and accurately document details in ASH proprietary systems
  • Look up caller information and provide benefit info and assistance with problem resolution
  • Route cases needing additional research to the correct department
  • Use online and internal resources to deliver accurate answers quickly
  • Manage time to meet call answer and follow-up timeframes
  • Meet or exceed key performance expectations for the role
  • Complete required trainings on time and attend weekly team meetings
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all legal, compliance, and company policies
  • Handle additional duties as assigned

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of customer service experience (inbound call center experience preferred)
  • Basic computer skills and comfort navigating multiple systems during one interaction
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening
  • Ability to stay organized, prioritize, multitask, and manage constant interruptions
  • Discretion and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
