The Women & Children’s Health Strategy Analyst III is responsible for providing end to end research and analytic support for Ohio Women & Children’s Health with inclusion of Population Health and Ohio Medicaid Next Generation of Managed Care requirements.   

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborates with Enterprise and local Market leadership teams to identify best practices and operational excellence
  • Serves as liaison to collaborate with Quality, Population Health, Health Equity, Care Management and Operations to obtain data and support Women & Children’s Health strategy and initiatives
  • Serve as liaison between Health Services, Information Technology (IT), Enterprise business partners, and Enterprise Project Management (EPM) organizations to assist and meet the requirements of the Population Health Strategy, Next Generation of Managed Care, EPSDT, and Maternal Health Requirements 
  • Act as the Ohio Women & Children’s Health subject matter expert for internal data systems (Maternal/Children’s Health Dashboards, HEDIS, Power BI, etc.) to eliminate barriers to data collection and develop real-time solutions for meeting Quality Improvement objectives/goals and regulatory requirements
  • In collaboration with Ohio business owner(s), identify opportunities for the development of robust strategies and innovative initiatives to drive process improvement, root cause analysis and monitor execution for Ohio Women & Children’s Health initiatives
  • Develop process and procedures along with workflows and visual aids specific to Women & Children’s Health for internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide comprehensive data needed to support cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed initiatives to aid decision-making process as well as collect and analyze data in support of business cases
  • Responsible monitoring and support data collection, management, and reporting.
  • Assist in design, implementation and maintenance of standard internal and external dashboards related to Women & Children’s Health process improvement initiatives
  • Actively participate in Ohio Women & Children’s Health meetings that include – data analytics, quality improvement and strategic planning
  • Collaborates with key Enterprise and Ohio Market stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Serve as liaison between the Ohio Women & Children’s Health and Corporate Communications for communication needs related to quality initiatives and information/materials to support
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field required and master’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare analytics experience is required
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in project management and managed care environment is preferred

  • Intermediate proficiency level with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint
  • Knowledgeable of SQL
  • Knowledgeable of Population Health reporting systems
  • Demonstrated experience with systems, database management and ability to manipulate data and create reports
  • Knowledge of regulatory and quality reporting standards and measures

Compensation Range:
$69,400.00 – $111,000.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
