Job Description

A home care services company is searching for a Voice Engineer to join their team remotely in EST or CST. The Voice Engineer would be supporting, maintaining and enhancing their telecommunication infrastructure and playing a key role in an upcoming migration from Avaya to 8×8. The engineer would spend about 30% of their time doing day to day tasks like troubleshooting, managing L2 and L3 escalations for voice related issues and maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations. They would spend 70% of their time supporting the migration from the legacy voice communication system to 8×8., including building auto attendance, call routing, forwarding phone numbers and testing. The ideal candidate would also have experience with troubleshooting eFax or a similar tool.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years’ experience in managing and supporting voice communications systems
Experience migrating from legacy system to 8×8
Strong proficiency in 8×8 work and contact centers
Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience troubleshooting Efax or similar tool
