Tech-savvy and confident running Zoom? Steno is hiring part-time Virtual Tech Assistants (Video Specialists) to provide live support during remote depositions, ensuring clients receive white-glove service from start to finish.

Schedule
- Remote role (U.S. based in approved states: AL, AZ, AR, FL, GA, HI, IN, IA, KS, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MS, MO, MT, NE, NJ, NM, NC, OH, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA, WV, WI)
- Part-time, hourly (must have at least 20 hours/week availability)
- Pay: $20–$23/hour
- Must be available for training during the first 10 weekdays of hire
- Workdays: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM PST (with at least 3 days of full availability)
What You’ll Do
- Provide live Zoom and Steno Connect support during depositions
- Troubleshoot video/audio issues in real time
- Organize and manage virtual deposition documents
- Guide clients on using Zoom and answer technical questions
- Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and confidence
- Stay flexible and adapt to evolving processes and platforms
What You Need
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ year of video/audio conferencing support (Zoom proficiency required; you’ll be tested in the interview)
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfort working remotely and navigating multiple technologies
- Minimum 6 months prior remote work experience
- Bonus: experience in court reporting, legal industry, or startups
