What You’ll Do
- Triage incoming maintenance tickets using Happy Force software
- Guide residents through basic fixes via SMS, phone, and video while following SOPs
- Take inbound calls, assess urgency, and escalate true emergencies using property-specific protocols
- Walk residents through mitigation steps to reduce damage during maintenance emergencies
- Communicate daily with on-site property teams on operations, escalations, and next steps
- Process work orders from intake through completion
- Troubleshoot common residential maintenance issues quickly and accurately
- Participate in product feedback sessions and collaborate with other remote technicians and leads
What You Need
- 5+ years of on-site residential maintenance experience (required)
- Strong verbal and written English
- Spanish fluency is a plus (and clearly valued here)
- Basic computer skills and comfort using tools like Zoom and Google Docs (or the ability to learn fast)
- Solid judgment on issue type and priority
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and the ability to coach non-technical residents calmly
- Reliable internet and a quiet, professional home workspace
- Multifamily residential experience strongly preferred
