Schedule
• Fully remote (U.S.)
• Training: 2 weeks, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
• Production: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST (no weekends)
• Pay: $19/hour, paid weekly
What You’ll Do
• Process incoming fax and phone requests for referrals and authorizations and enter demographic/authorization details accurately
• Confirm member eligibility for requested authorizations, including locating or obtaining ID numbers when needed
• Route calls and faxes to the appropriate staff, meeting turnaround time requirements and quality standards
• Communicate authorization information to providers, facilities, and specialists and apply regulatory and product line requirements
• Educate providers and internal teams on authorization processes, status, and documentation timeframes while collaborating with Claims, Network Development, and Provider Relations
What You Need
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in managed care (preferably in medical management) with some exposure to claims and member services
• Strong customer service skills, professional phone etiquette, and comfort managing high call volumes
• Solid computer skills (Windows, Word, multi-line phones, fax/office equipment) and high attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, stay flexible, and work well on a team
