About the role:

Flossy is seeking a new member to join our expanding treatment team. This team member is proficient in all things dental, and will be focused on increasing case acceptance and providing an exceptional customer service experience, for patients and practices alike.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Ensure the smooth operation of Flossy patient care by maintaining patient records, coordinating treatment plans, and handling administrative tasks
  • With your excellent communication skills and customer-oriented mindset, you will provide patients and Flossy partners with a seamless experience
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments for patients, taking into consideration their preferences and availability
  • Communicate with patients to educate them on treatment plans, answer any questions and/or address any concerns they may have
  • Collaborate with Flossy’s network of dental providers to provide proper coordination and sequencing of patient treatment
  • Verify dental insurance coverage and frequency limitations

Preferred qualifications

  • A warm personality and genuinely enjoys talking to people 
  • 3+ years of experience in a dental office
  • Solid understanding of dental terminology and procedures
  • Proficient in using dental software and computer systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, team members, and external partners
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of insurance plans and experience with insurance verification and patient financing
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
