Schedule
- Fully remote, full-time position
- Standard business hours with time-sensitive funding and closing deadlines
- Heavy coordination with title companies, operations, and internal teams to meet contract closing dates and warehouse timelines
What You’ll Do
- Review complete loan files to confirm all conditions are cleared and the file is fully ready to close
- Prepare accurate closing documents, including correct fees and closing conditions, in line with program and company requirements
- Verify key details for accuracy, such as borrower legal names, property address, loan terms, price, rate, title work, and hazard insurance
- Review and deliver the Closing Disclosure, ensuring the loan meets guidelines, compliance standards, and company policies
- Set up funding and coordinate wires to title companies for proper disbursement of funds
- Maintain and manage a closing pipeline, balancing warehouse wire timing, contract close dates, and timely delivery of complete closed loan files
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of recent residential closing experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, and Agency products
- Strong math skills and comfort working with numbers, fees, and figures
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and loan origination systems (Encompass LOS strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of Closing Disclosures and how they tie into compliance and program guidelines
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work with urgency when time constraints and closing dates are in play
