Who We Need:

Total Rewards Partner plays a dual role in supporting Cardinal’s compensation and benefits functions. This position assists in designing and implementing base pay and incentive programs, such as job evaluations, bonuses, and merit programs. They may also analyze market data to ensure pay equity and competitiveness. Responsibilities include performing job evaluations, conducting analysis, and advising stakeholders on compensation-related matters. Additionally, the partner supports in managing, implementing, and communicating employee benefits, leave management and wellness programs. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and external vendors, ensuring efficient and effective support in both compensation and benefits areas.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and manage accurate job descriptions, ensuring consistency across the organization.
  • Conduct job audits to document roles, responsibilities, and required skills, driving organizational consistency.
  • Evaluate positions for appropriate classification, salary grade, EEO, and FLSA status.
  • Perform competitive benchmarking and data analysis to ensure fair and competitive compensation.
  • Prepare and present job and compensation analysis reports.
  • Identify job leveling and career progression opportunities, influencing organizational structure decisions.
  • Provide HR and business leaders with compensation information and support, including pay grades and employee mapping.
  • Review job postings for accuracy in descriptions, FLSA status, and compensation.
  • Participate in compensation surveys to assess market competitiveness.
  • Conduct internal equity reviews and ensure compliance with compensation laws and regulations.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including new hire enrollment, open enrollment, and COBRA management.
  • Interpret FMLA and ADA regulations for leave and disability-related matters.
  • Manage benefits changes in HRIS and benefits portal, and review employee benefit exceptions.
  • Audit and correct benefits-related data, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines and regulations.
  • Support the maintenance of the internal benefits page and assist with ACA audit and submission.
  • Develop and monitor the wellness program, analyzing participation and effectiveness, and prepare performance reports.
  • Contribute to company-wide marketing, communication, and facilitation of annual open enrollment.
  • Participate in team projects and perform other related duties as needed.

What You Need:

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
  • 3+ Years of Total Rewards experience required.
  • 2+ Years experience in Human Resources required.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.
  • 2+ Years experience working within a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) preferred.
  • Experience with Mortgage Sales language and commission structures preferred.
  • 1+ Years experience working within ACA laws and regulations required.
  • Previous experience with managing leave of absence programs and knowledge of ADA regulations and procedures preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of Federal rules and regulations surrounding compensation, benefits, leave of absence, and ACA by conducting research.
  • Ability to break down and solve complex problems in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) and ability to act as a liaison between multiple layers of management and departments.
  • Extreme attention to detail to ensure accuracy and integrity of personal and company data.
  • Capable of managing multiple deadlines with the ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.
  • Provide timely research and superior customer service related to benefits inquiries.
  • Logical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate self-sufficiency and confidentiality when accessing, processing, and interpreting information.
  • Proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
