The Princeton Review is looking for a part-time Associate to assist us with the onboarding process for our test prep staff new hires. The ideal candidate must possess the skills to learn quickly and communicate effectively with both external applicants and internal staff members. The candidate would be a self-starter with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and be able to work with minimal direction in an energetic, fast-paced environment.
Major Responsibilities:
Distribute and process all new hire paperwork for onboarding part-time test prep staff
Enter new hire data into various company systems
Must own accuracy in keying in demographic information
Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality throughout the process
Send out information to new hires about completion of Form I-9 and background check initiation
Monitor candidate progress through all required onboarding steps and assist with general questions and basic troubleshooting
Understand and implement key differences in onboarding information for distinct jurisdictions (country, state, locality) based on laws, restrictions and/or requirements
Effectively interact with full-time staff from multiple departments to ensure efficient and professional onboarding of new test prep staff
Serve as a liaison between candidates and the corporate human resources team
Respond to phone/email requests in a timely and professional manner
Perform other duties, including data entry and data review, as assigned
Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:
Part time position, 20-25 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Strong and courteous written and oral communication skills
Superior organization skills and attention to detail
A team player with an affable demeanor who projects professionalism and competency to the team and their candidates
Work well in a fast-paced environment with the need to prioritize multiple deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel is preferred
Communicate effectively with employees and candidates of all levels
Must handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately and with discretion
