ABOUT THIS TEMP POSITION

This is a temporary position and the length of assignment is estimated to go to 12/31/24. The length of the assignment is always dependent on business need and dates may change. While the assignment would be at the Alliance, if selected, you would be an employee of a temporary employment agency that we would connect you with.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Reporting to the Provider Relations Supervisor, this position: 

  • Researching, analyzing and coordinating the resolution of complex provider payment concerns and assists with the resolution of provider issues and grievances 
  • Engaging in and facilitating provider recruitment, contracting, communication and relationships in support of strategic organizational objectives 
  • Responding to providers’ educational needs by planning and conducting ongoing provider training and workshops

  • Knowledge of:
    • The principles and practices of customer service
  • Ability to:
    • Design and produce reports from a data-base reporting tool 
    • Proofread and audit data for accuracy
    • Work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of a team
    • Maintain a professional demeanor and remain focused and calm in difficult situations
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Health Care or a related field and two years of experience in a health care, customer service, marketing or public relations environment [two (2) years of additional experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree]; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying
  • Desirable Qualifications
    • Knowledge of health care, preferably managed health care

OTHER INFORMATION

  • We are in a hybrid work environment, and we anticipate that the interview process will take place remotely via Microsoft Teams.
  • While some staff may work full telecommuting schedules, attendance at quarterly company-wide events or department meetings will be expected.
  • In-office or in-community presence may be required for some positions and is dependent on business need. Details about this can be reviewed during the interview process.

The full compensation range for this position is listed by location below. 

The actual compensation for this role will be determined by our compensation philosophy, analysis of the selected candidate’s qualifications (direct or transferrable experience related to the position, education or training), as well as other factors (internal equity, market factors, and geographic location).

Compensation Range

$34—$38 USD
