Synapticure is hiring a Telehealth Medical Assistant to support patients with neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and ALS. This full-time remote role combines clinical and administrative duties to ensure patients and caregivers receive streamlined, compassionate care through Synapticure’s virtual platform.

Schedule
- Full-time, remote position (U.S. only)
- Home-based with company-provided technology
- Standard weekday hours with occasional flexibility
What You’ll Do
- Retrieve medical records, process referrals, complete paperwork, and manage prior authorizations
- Virtually greet patients and provide pre-visit support for neurologist appointments
- Advocate for patients with providers, insurers, and care team partners while adhering to HIPAA standards
- Follow standardized procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care coordination teams and external medical partners
- Represent Synapticure with professionalism, empathy, and hope
What You Need
- Active Medical Assistant Certification
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle medical records and referrals
- Preferred: Experience in startups or rapidly scaling organizations
- Preferred: Bilingual in English/Spanish
