Salary & Working Expectations
$20/hour for up to 20 hours per week, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time
position. This is a fully remote position, with no requirementto come into the office.
Overview
Eventeny is looking for a Technical Support Associate to join our rapidly growing team. The
ideal applicant will possess experience in technical writing for software, and have a strong
grasp of the English language and proper grammar. Upon hiring, the Technical Support
Associate will join the Customer Success team, and work closely with other internal teams.
The Technical Support Associate will ensure our product documentation is clear and concise
by creating new help pages for existing and newly developed features on the Eventeny
website as well as maintaining existing articles. They will also be responsible for assisting
with customer hardware requests and other customer supporttasks as needed.

Here’s what you’ll do
● Work under the Customer Success team to create, develop, and maintain high quality
product documentation, guides, community posts, and tutorials.
● Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding ofthe product and the
documentation requirements.
● Tracking and managing documentation around new productreleases.
● Research and analyze competitors’ product documentation for successes and
failures, and compare to Eventeny current practices.
● Maintain and update projecttracking board for product development.
● Offer suggestions to improve technical documentation and identify growth
opportunities within the platform.
● Assist with customer hardware requests as needed.
Here’s what we’re looking for
● 1+ years experience in technical writing, the software startup industry, or comparable
form of writing experience.
● 1+ year Software as a Service (SaaS) experience, in combination or separately from
above.
● Complete proficiency in the English language, including grammar and sentence
structure.
● Basic knowledge of photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
● Excellent communication and proofreading skills.
● Familiarity with G Suite applications.
● Understanding of SEO/SEM best practices.
● Some familiarity with Zendesk preferred.
