Polco is seeking a Survey Assistant to join our Survey Research Team!
The Survey Assistant position is responsible for supporting Polco’s benchmark and custom assessments through a series of time-sensitive administrative tasks, including creating, formatting, editing, and proofreading online and mailed materials. This position will produce and review customer-facing materials but will not interact directly with customers. The Survey Assistant will report to the Director of Survey Research.
The ideal Survey Assistant candidate is a detail-oriented individual who is able to switch between tasks and projects quickly and confidently. They should possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to efficiently prioritize their responsibilities. Attention to detail, the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, and a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and composition is essential in this role, as is the ability to communicate effectively in digital-first environments.
Responsibilities
Building and programming surveys on Polco’s online platform
Coding surveys to add to the Polco database
Creating survey distribution links
Creating codebooks and data entry materials
Formatting and coordinating mailing materials
Editing and proofreading online and printed surveys to ensure accuracy and completeness
Collaborating with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Tracking progress and time spent on relevant projects in Asana
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or 2 years of relevant experience in administrative, content, clerical, or data entry work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat
Previous experience with Tableau, Asana, and Slack is a plus, but not required
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to write, edit, and format content for composition, layout, grammar, and punctuation
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a remote team
Key Performance Indicators
Accuracy of mailed and online survey materials
Efficiency of tracking time against tasks with a downward trend in time to completion correlating with tenure
Ability to meet all internal and external deadlines
