About the Role

Aloft is seeking part-time team members to provide daily support for internal and external stakeholders using our industry-leading software, Appraiser Toolkit, to support daily appraisal order activity such as scheduling, order administration, and client communication. This is a perfect role for a residential real estate appraiser trainee who takes initiative, is intuitive, acts resourcefully, and has an interest in growing within the appraisal industry. The ability to multitask is essential in this position. 

The ideal candidate is located on the West Coast of the US.  This role will report to the Customer Experience Manager. 

What you’ll do:

  • Provide direct support to Aloft Appraiser Toolkit users through written and verbal communication
  • Create and maintain appraisal orders within established timelines
  • Schedule appraisal inspections directly with clients on behalf of our appraisers 
  • Interact with our clients and partners via phone as the face and voice of Aloft 
  • Utilize our proprietary software to monitor the progress of current and outstanding orders
  • Partner with our Appraisers during the creation and scheduling of orders
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure individual and overall team goals are met
  • Other duties as assigned while we continue to grow the team and company

What you’ll bring:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience with phone, email, and text conversations
  • Excitement around working with customers every day and exceeding their expectations within a support capacity
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize your workflow
  • Adaptability to an ever-evolving process (we’re a startup and we’re scrappy) 
  • An open-minded attitude with a willingness to learn 
  • Experience in the real estate market is a plus, experience as an Appraiser trainee a plus, plus but not required
  • Bonus: experience working with software like ZenDesk, Total, G-Suite, Slack
