JOB DESCRIPTION

Join Cottage Health as the Telehealth Supervisor. The Telehealth Supervisor will oversee and manage all Cottage Health telehealth/virtual care strategy and programs. This role will manage all virtual care vendor relationships, develop all future telehealth programs including all policies and procedures. This individual will work with multiple service line leaders to create, deploy and grow planned virtual care and innovation initiatives. Epic and IT experience is preferred as the position will oversee all patient referral and EMR/EPIC integration. Will work with vendor and IT/HIM to build new technical platforms. The Telehealth Supervisor will spearhead the scaling of existing virtual care platforms, as well as eventual expansion of future platforms as part of the Cottage Health virtual care strategy to expand access and care through available technologies. The Telehealth Supervisor will report to the Director of Marketing and Consumerism.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION 

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree 

Preferred: Degree in virtual health care, digital media, communication or related field 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

Preferred: Telehealth Certification 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 

Minimum: Will demonstrate intermediate knowledge of hospital EMR, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint 

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE 

Minimum: 1 years of professional virtual health care experience, 3 years work experience in IT or EMR setting 

Preferred: 3 years of professional virtual health care experience Non-profit, digital media, communication, and/or healthcare experience
