What You’ll Do
- Supervise non-clinical support staff, including Medical Assistants rounding in Senior Living Communities and virtual staff handling administrative tasks.
- Hire, onboard, and orient new non-clinical team members to Curana standards, workflows, and expectations.
- Evaluate team workload and priorities, adjusting staffing and resource allocation to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Care Management Operations on staffing, operational issues, and program needs, bringing solutions to the table.
- Lead weekly team meetings to review performance, provide updates, and align on new workflows or initiatives.
- Review and approve payroll, track attendance, and monitor employee leave, FMLA, and call-offs.
- Educate staff on policies, procedures, and new care management programs, and perform quality assurance audits on both virtual and on-site staff.
- Take on additional program management and support tasks as assigned.
What You Need
- Associate degree in a healthcare-related field or a relevant healthcare certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office, Senior Living Community, or related healthcare environment.
- Strong care coordination knowledge and familiarity with non-clinical support functions like scheduling and EMR management.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple demands.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to spot process gaps and drive improvements.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to Senior Living Communities as needed.
