- Full-time, remote position
- Must reside in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI
- Standard office hours in a home-office setting, with significant time spent on phone and computer
What You’ll Do
- Process stipulation documents and verify they meet company requirements
- Develop a working knowledge of stipulation policies and escalate documents or situations that require supervisor review
- Communicate with dealers by phone and email to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide documentation guidance
- Assist with underwriting skill development and work toward higher levels of decision authority under management guidance
- Verify loan terms with new customers, answer customer service calls, and process payments over the phone as needed
- Support cross-department functions, including customer service and payment calls, to ensure smooth handling of accounts
- Help maintain and grow business by building strong, ongoing relationships with dealers
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working under deadlines, adapting to changes, and maintaining accuracy
What You Need
- Associate’s degree in business, finance, communication, marketing, or related field
- OR at least 1 year of experience in underwriting or lending
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under deadlines
- Reliable, positive, “can-do” attitude with strong judgment and people skills
- Ability to read and interpret financial and technical documents, and respond professionally to customer or agency inquiries
- Comfort with basic math, including percentages, interest, and related calculations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle varied situations with limited standardization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet browser)
- Ability to work well with others, take direction, and stay accurate under pressure
