Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm CT (mandatory)
- Business hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–7:00pm CT (flexibility required)
- Remote role: dedicated, quiet, distraction-free workspace required
- Internet requirements: DSL, Cable, or Fiber; minimum 15Mbps download / 5Mbps upload, ping <30ms, hardwired connection
What You’ll Do
- Investigate and resolve patient and physician inquiries with urgency and professionalism
- Mediate escalated payer/pharmacy issues to de-escalate and achieve positive outcomes
- Proactively follow up with insurers, pharmacies, and providers to secure therapy access
- Assess patient financial ability and guide toward assistance programs when needed
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation in the database for every interaction
- Track and report payer or plan issues, trends, and changes to management
- Handle complex situations independently and provide guidance to less experienced team members
- Support teammates with overflow calls and intake as needed
What You Need
- 3–6 years of relevant experience preferred
- High school diploma, GED, or technical certification (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments with urgency and accuracy
- Knowledge of medical terminology and payer processes strongly preferred
- Comfort working independently while collaborating within established procedures
