Schedule
Full-time, remote eligible in approved states (remote not available to residents of: AK, CT, DE, HI, KS, KY, ME, MA, MS, MT, NE, NH, NM, ND, RI, SC, SD, VT, WV, WY).
Monday-Friday 8-hour shift within department hours; hours of operation are 8am-7pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-6pm Friday.
What You’ll Do
⦁ Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals regarding prior authorizations.
⦁ Contact providers to obtain necessary information and help triage prior authorizations while managing assigned workflow queues.
⦁ Document information accurately and thoroughly, set up prescription orders, and ensure patient records include key details (demographics, allergies, medication history, comorbidities, and payer information).
What You Need
⦁ High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
⦁ CPhT preferred; pharmacy technician license or trainee license strongly preferred in states requiring licensure.
⦁ Two years of pharmacy support or healthcare environment experience preferred, with strong documentation skills and the ability to work varied shifts within operating hours.
