What You’ll Do
⦁ Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals
⦁ Contact provider offices to gather required info for prior authorizations
⦁ Triage and manage assigned workflow queues to keep requests moving
⦁ Document thoroughly and accurately, including prescription setup and related details
⦁ Ensure patient records include key information (demographics, allergies, med history, comorbidities, payer details)
⦁ Follow all federal and state requirements and uphold ethical standards
⦁ Jump in on other prior-authorization-related duties as needed

What You Need
⦁ High school diploma or GED (some college preferred)
⦁ CPhT preferred
⦁ Pharmacy technician license or trainee license strongly preferred in states that require it
⦁ 2+ years of pharmacy support or healthcare environment experience preferred
⦁ Ability to work scheduled hours (shifts can vary based on department needs)
⦁ Comfort working within compliance expectations and supporting compliance program objectives
⦁ Strong teamwork skills with consistent professionalism and respect
