Snyk is leading the world to developer security, and we’re looking for an energetic, driven, and hands-on Social Media Specialist to join this rocket ship on our Communications team! She/He/They will engage with and grow our audiences by creating and distributing high-value social content across our social channels to promote

As the Social Media Specialist for Snyk, you’ll support the Social Media Manager in maintaining our social media publishing calendar and creating social media content that caters to various audiences across our official channels. You’ll also play a crucial role in enabling our employees to help amplify our messages through our employee advocacy program. This role will collaborate with various teams within the company to bring engaging content to life!

You’ll spend your time:

  • keeping our social media calendar up to date
  • copywriting and editing social media posts for Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
  • collaborating with other teams to create social media content (Content, Communications, Design, DevRel and Community, Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Customer Marketing, Recruiting, etc.)
  • maintaining our employee advocacy program and keeping our tool up-to-date
  • monitoring our social media channels for relevant conversations and engaging with our audiences
  • owning various social media campaigns that help promote the Snyk platform and Snyk’s culture
  • analyzing and reporting on social media performance for various campaigns

You should apply if you:

  • Have first-hand experience owning a social media calendar and scheduling/publishing social media content using third party social media tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Sprinklr
  • Managed social media campaigns end-to-end, from ideation to design, coordination, data analysis, and everything in between.
  • Have experience marketing to developers and working with Developer Relations teams
  • Previously supported an organization’s employee advocacy program
  • Are passionate about promoting company culture
  • Enjoy social media copywriting and engaging with people on social media channels; coming up with new ideas to make content enriching and enjoyable
  • Consistently keep a pulse on social media trends and updates
  • Describe yourself as a curious problem-solver who thrives on taking initiative; you are hands-on, collaborative, agile, and enjoy the speed of a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment

  • Previously marketed to security and developer personas
  • Supported social media programs on a global scale
  • Have experience setting up and managing paid social campaigns
