What You’ll Do

  • Lead a strategic overhaul of Babylist’s social presence and creative standard
  • Own TikTok as the creative + strategic lead: trendspotting, creator collabs, shooting/editing, optimizing performance
  • Create “thumb-stopping” platform-native content that blends humor, empathy, and utility for expecting families
  • Partner across PR/influencer, partnerships, acquisition, editorial, and creative to integrate social into campaigns
  • Set and track KPIs; use insights to pivot strategy and communicate impact to stakeholders
  • Turn comments/DMs/audience insights into content that builds loyalty and trust
  • Move fast and escalate sensitive moments appropriately, ensuring Babylist shows up with empathy and integrity
  • Use AI tools to scale workflow, trend forecasting, and performance insights (without replacing creative taste)
  • Help define systems and resourcing for the future social org

What You Need

  • 8+ years social media experience for a consumer brand with 500k+ followers
  • Deep platform expertise: Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and especially TikTok
  • Proven audience growth + measurable results (not just “posted a lot”)
  • Hands-on short-form creator (storyboard, film, edit, publish, optimize)
  • Strong creative judgment and trend fluency (knowing what to skip is part of the job)
  • Data-driven decision making, plus comfort in fast-moving/high-stakes comms
  • Brand partnership social experience
  • Empathy for pregnancy/early parenthood audience

Compensation

  • $150,230 to $180,317 base (final offer depends on location/experience; increases tied to performance and role growth)
