The Senior Manager, Fintech Operations is critical to the management and maintenance of WorkWave’s Payments & Financial Services (Fintech) business. They run the day-to-day operation. Handle escalations. Drive urgency internally and with partners. Ensure processes are defined, maintained and improved upon. Ensure WorkWave and WorkWave employees are compliant and, performant, and that vendors and internal services meet and exceed SLAs.

This role is a key contributor and stakeholder in developing our embedded payments and financial services strategy, managing day-to-day Payfac operations, owning payment partner relationships, and defining key payments metrics. Accountable for completion of payments initiatives in conjunction with PMO, launching new partners, presenting at business reviews, implementing policies and procedures that reduce risk while improving overall performance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Manage all of the payment operations. Track data, analyze and provide metrics about the operation. Things like:

• Trading merchants

• KYCs

• Chargebacks

• Bank Account Changes

• Non-trading MIDs

• Non-collectible subscriptions

• Implementation of price changes

• Manage and continuously improve key operational processes such as KYC, AML, Fraud prevention, Underwriting, Compliance & serve as a Compliance Officer.

• Ownership of KPIs and leadership of process and technical improvements

• Team Leadership

• Efficiency improvement – maximizing year over year increasing positive operating leverage through automation, offshoring, outsourcing, etc.

• Partner management – ensuring vendors and partners are meeting SLAs. Holding them accountable.

• Business System improvement – technical acumen and ability to lead change within the CRM, ERP and other business systems that support the Fintech operation

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the fintech or related industry.
  • Proven track record of operational success
  • Detail oriented and persistent 
  • Deep understanding of fintech solutions and their application within the field services industry
  • Strong relationships and reputation within the target industries
  • Prior sales management experience leading both Hunter & Farmer individual sales contributors
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel as required

$120,000 – $145,000 a year

Position is bonus eligible
