Do you have a passion for live major sporting events, live music and other live events? Sodexo Live!, the premier Food and Beverage company for live events is searching for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Business Development team. This is a highly visible role within the organization, working in a fast-paced environment with tremendous growth potential.
About the position
The Senior Business Analyst position will create customized approaches to deliver actionable insights and solutions to complex business problems. They will leverage and integrate relevant business information, data, develop business plan, and will assist in efficiently calibrating capital investment, operations and financial expectations. The Senior Business Analyst is a polished and experienced professional with strong analytic, strategic and business partnering skills. Working closely with the Vice President of Strategic Planning and/or Director of Business Development, they will lead projects from concept through final delivery to understand and help solve the business’ most pressing issues in the areas of, Operations, Innovation, Sales and Marketing and to add value with executable strategies and tactics.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Finance, Technology, Culinary, Sales, etc.) to assist with the review and assessment of the new business opportunity and core business renewal.
- Development of the financial pro forma model and commercial terms, including but not limited to the following steps:
- Review of Request for Proposal (“RFP”)
- If/when required, attend pre-bid meetings and/or site visits
- Review historical data, financial performance, and trendlines
- Maintain industry knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Extremely passionate individual with ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, exercise independent judgment, work on own initiative and on multiple projects simultaneously
- MBA or current MBA candidate
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience, reporting and progressive project management experience (within the hospitality, retail or restaurant industry a plus)
- Highly developed analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and superior organizational skills
- Must possess advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills
Other Requirements
- Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Travel 10% – 20%
