Responsibilities
- Follow-up to ensure any Service Now tickets assigned to the Hospice Team are completed
- Develop Huddle Notes and Lead Huddles
- Assist Billers with questions or concerns
- Add staff absences to the department calendar
- Participate in monthly one-on-one with the Manager
- Insure Hospice correspondence is completed daily
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication
- Set clear team goals
- Delegate tasks and set deadlines
- Oversee day-to-day operation
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics
- Motivate team members
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
Requirements and skills
- Some healthcare billing knowledge
- Some eligibility verification and claims processing experience
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
- Good PC skills, especially MS Excel
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Decision-making skills
- Team Leader work experience
