As a Revenue Recovery Specialist, you’ll evaluate accounts, confirm payer responsibility, and resolve underpaid or unpaid claims through appeals — all while supporting patients and collaborating with clients across multiple states.

What You’ll Do
- Manage an inventory of accounts from multiple clients, including new, priority, aged, and high-dollar cases
- Review accounts to confirm workers’ comp guidelines and payer responsibility
- Prepare and submit appeals with proper documentation to recover correct payments
- Resolve issues causing delayed or denied claims
- Maintain clear, professional documentation throughout the resolution process
- Collaborate with patients, employers, and payer representatives to ensure accurate processing
- Identify payer resolution trends and share insights with peers
- Use web portals, client systems, and databases to document and resolve accounts efficiently
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of experience with Workers’ Compensation processes
- Background in hospital revenue cycle or insurance claim processing
- Familiarity with workers’ compensation fee schedules preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
