What You’ll Do
- Manage revenue cycle processes end-to-end, focusing on billing, collections, denial management, and credit balances
- Identify and resolve issues impacting revenue across accounts receivable and reimbursement workflows
- Collaborate with clinical and financial teams to align documentation, coding, and billing practices
- Analyze metrics, reports, and trends to improve performance and reduce avoidable write-offs
- Ensure adherence to revenue cycle best practices, payer rules, and coding/reimbursement guidelines
- Work within Epic and other systems to resolve rejections, reconcile accounts, and support clean claim submission
- Assist with other revenue cycle duties as assigned to support client and team goals
What You Need
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable and/or revenue cycle management
- In-depth knowledge of medical coding guidelines, regulations, and reimbursement methodologies in at least one specialty area
- Experience with Epic for medical RCM
- Experience with payer contract reimbursement methodologies; contract negotiation experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Team-player mindset plus independent, problem-solving approach
