Schedule
• Remote (work from home)
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Hourly pay: $17 to $22 per hour (DOE)
What You’ll Do
• File medical insurance claims using the correct forms and required attachments
• Make outbound calls and work across multiple software systems
• Research denials, resolve issues, and submit written appeals when needed
• Determine which insurance to bill based on client information and gather supporting documentation
• Verify patient information and insurance benefits
• Document all actions thoroughly in the CUBS system (and any other required systems)
• Meet productivity goals, maintain confidentiality, and follow compliance and conduct policies
What You Need
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Insurance billing training preferred, and knowledge of insurance payers is a plus
• Strong communication skills for phone and remote chat environments
• Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
• Professional, courteous approach with patients, coworkers, and leadership
• Basic PC proficiency and typing speed of 30–40 WPM
• Ability to maintain a secure, confidential, and organized remote workspace
• Ability to sit for extended periods (virtual call center style work)
