Job Title: Retrieval Representative

Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Location: U.S. Remote

About The Role:

Sterling is looking for a Retrievals Representative to call clinics and laboratories to obtain documents for case completions as well as requested status of results from the clinics and laboratories. The Retrievals Representative will create the orders using specific systems and work through various queues to resolve any issues and to complete any open cases.

This Is What You’ll Do:

  • Make outbound calls to clinics and laboratories to obtain documentation, corrections, or verification for case completion.
  • Send emails and faxes to follow up on the documentation when needed.
  • Reply to emails that are received from sites and laboratories.
  • Create orders using the proprietary systems.
  • Identify issues and successfully resolve, quickly and efficiently.
  • Answer incoming calls from a call queue with questions on the documentation requests or transferring the calls when questions are for other departments.
  • Working hours for this position are 8:30AM – 5:00PM CST

This Is What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of proven customer service experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally to clinicals, clients, and internal contacts.
  • Able to achieve goals put in place to manage workload.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking ability, high attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve effectively.

The salary for this position is $15-17 per hour or the minimum wage in your local market, whichever is greater. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of benefits including but not limited to medical, financial, unlimited sick time, 22 days’ vacation annually (for FT workers; prorated 1st year of employment), parental leave and other benefits are also provided.
