Schedule
- Full-time remote role
- Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm EST (mandatory)
- After training: schedules assigned via shift bid; must be open and flexible between 8:00am–9:00pm EST (including Saturday hours)
- Requires a quiet, distraction-free workspace with hardwired high-speed internet (minimum 25Mbps download, 10Mbps upload, ping under 30ms)
What You’ll Do
- Answer ~60–80 inbound calls per day from customers, caregivers, and referral sources regarding medical supplies
- Place and process new and repeat orders, including insurance billing and payments as needed
- Resolve order discrepancies, product availability issues, and customer complaints with professionalism
- Navigate multiple systems to provide order status updates and ensure first-call resolution
- Explain insurance terminology and product offerings in clear, easy-to-understand language
- Consult supervisors or leads on complex or unusual issues
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards in all interactions
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) preferred
- 2–4 years’ experience in a high-volume call center preferred
- Previous remote/work-from-home experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and order placement systems
- Excellent phone skills with strong communication and active listening
- Ability to meet call center metrics (average handle time, QA, adherence)
- Root cause analysis and healthcare-related customer service experience preferred
