Positions in this function include those responsible for gathering dashboard requirements and facilitating dashboard development, validation, and testing. Provide analysis utilized for dashboard report decision making. Ongoing tracking and maintenance of the report/dashboard repository.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Gather and document report and Power Bi dashboard requirements
- Track and maintain report/dashboard repository
- Design, analyze, and maintain Power Bi dashboards and other reports
- Demonstrates ability to be a self-starter and can manage multiple priorities with minimum direction
- Takes ownership and is accountable to complete assigned tasks from start to end with accuracy
- Support, develop, and test new and existing reports/dashboards
- Identify, test and implement process, and report/dashboard improvements and efficiencies
- Support testing of operational workflows
- Collaborate and communicate with reporting customers
- Create and maintain ad hoc and scheduled reports
- Demonstrate understanding of relevant software and databases (e.g., Power Bi, SQL, Excel)
- Test and review reports in various stages of development including, but not limited to, associated metrics used to ensure accuracy and quality
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with gathering report requirements
- 2+ years of experience with building reports/dashboards
- 2+ years of experience with report validation and testing
- 2+ years of experience with business analysis using MS Excel, SQL, Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power Bi, Tableau)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power Bi, Tableau) to create visualization from given dataset
- Experience working in the Health Insurance Industry (TPA experience preferred)
- Proven advanced Excel skills (e.g., Expert in formulas, Pivot tables, Charts, Power Query)
- Proven working knowledge of relational databases, database structures, advanced SQL, Snowflake, Oracle (e.g., Writer SQL queries to fetch data from server, Dynamic/nested queries, Joins, Create tables and views)
- Demonstrated data analytical skills dealing with large datasets, ability to callout inferences/queries in desired format (covering regular and ad hoc reports)
- Proven working knowledge of Utilization Management, Disease Management and/or Case Management programs

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
