As a Remote Cash Services Specialist at Community Health Systems – Shared Services Center- Fort Smith, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our purpose to help people get well and live healthier by providing safe, quality healthcare, building enduring relationships with our patients, and providing value for the people and communities we serve. The orientation hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm CST for approximately 1 week. After orientation, the training and working hours at Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm AZ MST (Arizona MST time zone). At the end of every month, you will be required to work longer hours than normal. Usually, it will be next to the last day of the month, but if the day(s) falls on a weekend, it may require working late on Friday or during the weekend. Furthermore, there may be additional dates that will be provided by leadership that would be required based on business needs.
Required Experience:
- 1 Year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or business office.
Preferred Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in revenue cycle structure and process
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a working knowledge of all essential host and workflow systems and websites. (30%)
- Ensure compliance with productivity standards set forth by SSC Leadership. (20%)
- Ensure compliance with quality standards set forth by SSC Leadership. (20%)
- Identify, research, & resolve variances in a timely manner. (20%)
- Maintain open and productive communication with others, both within the SSC and external, in a timely manner. (10%)
