Blue by ADT is seeking to fill openings in the Collections Department, where Collectors will deliver exceptional customer service and recover revenue losses through outbound calling efforts. Department hours are: 9:00am – 9:00pm EST Mondays through Fridays.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Promote a positive and cheerful attitude to teammates and customers
- Ability to apply basic math skills to set up payment plans
- Ability to communicate clearly and articulate your thoughts
- Ability to multitask while keeping the customer engaged
- Ability to make decisions independently
- Ability to proactively solve problems
- Ability to diffuse escalated conversations
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Basic understanding of home automation, alarm systems and how the phone and internet work together
- Has strong time management skills and does not need constant supervision
- Prior accounts receivables or collections experience a plus, but not required
- Prior experience in an outbound role a plus
- Existing Blue by ADT employee who has completed Care training
- Consistently meeting KPIs and goals in current position
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make outbound calls to collect past due balances
- Complete assigned work lists daily
- Handle inbound calls and properly manage payment arrangements
- Proactively probe customers for details that help to resolve delinquency concerns
- Process basic data changes and updates to customer accounts accurately and thoroughly
- Meet performance goals to reduce churn and increase customer experience
- Be respectful to everyone
- Be dependable and punctual
- Be competent, willing to learn new skills and grow within the organization
- Meet or exceed the minimum goals on a monthly basis in all KPIs set for the Collections role. The goals and KPIs are subject to change at any time.
We’re looking for someone with results they are proud of like:
- High school diploma
- Excellent customer service experience
- Collections and Call Center experience preferred
- Strong technical aptitude, problem solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple items at once
Pay and Benefits Disclosure:
The pay range for this role is $13.05 – $17.10 an hour, plus commission, and is based on experience and qualifications. We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
