Schedule
- Full-time, remote

Responsibilities
- Conduct benefit investigations by reviewing patient insurance information
- Assist providers and patients with completing insurance forms and program applications
- Submit prior authorization requests and follow up to ensure timely processing
- Respond to provider inquiries and accurately document all interactions
- Maintain ongoing communication with payers, pharmacies, and provider offices
- Identify reimbursement trends and report issues to leadership
- Process insurance and patient correspondence
- Provide accurate documentation for authorizations and referrals
- Coordinate with internal departments to support workflow and ensure task completion
- Escalate adverse events appropriately per SOP
- Work independently within defined procedures and exercise judgment on moderate-scope problems
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One or more years of experience in specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, physician’s office, or similar healthcare settings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build productive working relationships
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of medical and pharmacy benefits
- Familiarity with commercial and government payer processes (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Customer-focused mindset
