- Standard weekday business hours, with deadlines tied to refund processing and client needs
What You’ll Do
- Receive, review, and process refund requests for insurance companies and patients in an accurate, timely manner.
- Post and record refunds in the system so all financial activity is properly documented.
- Communicate with attorneys, no fault insurance, workers’ compensation carriers, and the Veterans Administration as needed.
- Handle refund related correspondence, faxes, and pending issues tied to open items.
- Collaborate with your Manager and the Refunds Department on priorities, special requests, and additional assignments.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Digitech by ensuring refunds are handled professionally and in line with client expectations.
What You Need
- Cash posting or refunds experience (required).
- Strong mathematical ability and comfort working with payment details and balances.
- Ability to read and understand Explanations of Benefits (EOBs).
- Computer literacy and the ability to work comfortably across dual monitors.
- Strong follow through, with the ability to work on deadlines and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Pleasant, professional demeanor and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
- Dependable, punctual, and accountable for your work, with a willingness to ask questions and learn quickly.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well with clients, internal departments, and external parties.
