We’re seeking a Refund Representative to join us.

As a Refund Representative, you will be responsible for timely resolution of credit balances by analyzing patient accounts for needed refund or adjustment to patient or insurance carriers.
What you’ll do:
Review and coordinate refunds for patients and/or insurance carriers
Extensive insurance follow-up with a wide variety of payers, including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross and major commercial carriers
Utilize your high-level understanding of medical accounts receivable to identify and work with insurance carriers
Other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring to Zotec:
High School diploma or equivalent required
1-3 years of experience in AR/Refunds preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and physician billing processing
Must be fluent in reading EOBs
Experience with Radiology Billing is highly preferred
Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to multi-task and be detail orientated
Experience in reviewing and coordinating refunds for patients and/or insurance carriers is helpful
Ability to follow-through, assume responsibility and use good judgment
Ability to prioritize workload and meet specific goals and objectives
Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations
Ability to work as part of a team
