Schedule
- Fully remote, US-based
- Must reside in one of the approved states (AL, AR, CT, FL, GA, IA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, NH, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD [CST zone], TN, TX [CST zone], VT, VA, WI, WV)
- Paid training program (90 business days)
- Standard business hours with productivity metrics
Responsibilities
- Contact insurance companies via phone or online portal to resolve underpayments, obtain missing information, and facilitate payments
- Explain claims and reimbursement issues clearly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of recovery activities including notes, correspondence, and follow-up steps
- Apply company best practices to prioritize high-impact tasks and maximize revenue recovery
- Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and suggest process improvements
- Uphold compliance standards and ethical practices in all reimbursement activities
- Participate actively in team discussions, training, and improvement initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable working with multiple screens and software applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to resolve conflicts and professionally handle disputes with insurance companies
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement regulations (HIPAA, CMS, state guidelines) preferred
