Schedule
- Full-time, remote (must reside in one of the approved U.S. states listed below)
- Paid training (90 business days) with interactive, hands-on learning
- Ongoing support and performance visibility
Responsibilities
- Contact insurance companies by phone or portal to resolve denied or underpaid claims and arrange payment processing
- Maintain detailed records of recovery activities, including call notes and correspondence
- Analyze complex reimbursement guidelines and apply them effectively
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and process improvement discussions
- Demonstrate professionalism and compliance with HIPAA, CMS regulations, and other standards
- Uphold ethical standards and effective conflict resolution practices when working with insurers
Requirements
- Driven, self-motivated, and eager to grow a career in healthcare revenue recovery
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Technical proficiency to navigate multiple computer screens and software systems
- Strong time management skills to meet productivity metrics
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement regulations is preferred
