POSITION SUMMARY:
Record Specialists are responsible for overall record collection to support Invitae/Ciitizen’s mission of Powering Patient-Driven Care. To successfully support this mission, specialists must maintain relationships with healthcare facilities across the U.S, deliver on team SLAs, and meet deadlines for targeted groups of patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain an accurate database of providers, clinics, and healthcare facilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with providers to support higher volumes.
- Advocate for patients when facilities are out of compliance
- Monitor active patient requests to meet team SLAs
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills both internally and externally
- Bring forth potential ideas to better current processes
- Identify and communicate potential issues as it pertains to expected deadlines
EXPERIENCE:
- Call center experience (2+ years preferred) or experience working with multiple technology platforms and troubleshooting issues
- Technical Skills – Use of a CRM (Salesforce experience preferred) and external programs (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Microsoft Office Excel)
- Background in medical records, communications, collections and/or customer service recommended. Nice to have: Knowledge of Patient Right of Access (HIPAA)

EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma required.
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred, but not required.
