Ventra Health is looking for an experienced coding professional to join its Provider Education team. This role focuses on reviewing provider documentation, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting practitioners through feedback and education.

Schedule
- Full-time, remote (nationwide, Eastern Time Zone hours)
- Eligible for Ventra’s performance-based incentive plan
What You’ll Do
- Review provider documentation and coding daily to ensure accuracy
- Provide weekly and monthly feedback on documentation trends
- Perform ongoing analysis of medical record documentation
- Support senior education specialists on focused projects
- Participate in special projects and additional assignments as needed
What You Need
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent credential required
- Minimum 4 years of coding experience and 2 years of auditing experience
- Strong knowledge of hospital medicine coding, documentation requirements, terminology, and anatomy
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Preferred
- Degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
