AIR is seeking a Project Support Assistant to support our Workforce Development Program Area within AIR’s Human Services Division.
This position can be done remotely or out of any of AIR’s U.S. office locations.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the position include:
- Maintain standard processes and procedures for effective administrative support services for project operations.
- Implement and utilize planning, scheduling, and tracking tools and systems.
- Assist leadership team with activities related to staffing and communication.
- Formulate standard administrative documents; prepare routine correspondence, and draft custom correspondence
- Provide administrative support to senior staff including calendar scheduling, meeting coordination and oversight, and travel arrangements.
- Provide project coordination for projects with multiple timelines, budgets, program inputs, and project deliverables across all programs.
- Perform quality control reviews of project-related materials to improve consistency/correctness of information, data, conformity to grammatical principles and style guidelines, and logic/consistency/readability of language.
- Assist with coordination of proposals, including ensuring all deadlines are met and all sections of the proposal are complete.
- Plan and manage own work time to ensure that assignments are completed in an efficient and effective manner and that work is timely, of high quality, and accurate. Appropriately seek guidance/direction.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external team members to resolve issues.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Associate’s degree or high school diploma completed
- Excellent proofreading, language, and analytic skills
- Ability to focus on details within a complex document
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment
- Ability to organize work and follow through on assignments independently
- Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and work priorities
- Proficiency within Windows environment and with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel
- Previous technical proofreading or copy-editing experience is a plus but not required
