What You’ll Do
- Organize and lead cross functional teams to deliver IT and business projects spanning one or more functional areas
- Work with stakeholders to clarify project objectives, define workstreams, and build realistic timelines
- Set and track project milestones, manage risks, and realign schedules and expectations when delays arise
- Establish and maintain clear chains of accountability across departments, inside and outside of IT
- Create and manage project communication plans, delivering regular status updates to affected departments and staff
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives
- Lead interdepartmental teams to complete projects on time, within scope, and within budget
- Maintain timelines and ensure accurate project and program tracking through closure
- Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to support strategic analysis and decision making
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment, modeling collaboration, innovation, and excellence
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years of related project management experience, including tracking and planning projects and working with business stakeholders in a cross functional matrix environment
- Experience gathering business requirements and documenting them clearly for technical and nontechnical audiences
- Hands on experience with SDLC methodologies, including Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall
- Project management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or CAPM preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and tools such as Microsoft Project and Atlassian Confluence/JIRA preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present status, risks, and recommendations clearly
- Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize work, and stay accurate under pressure
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to take direction, work well with others, and adapt productively to change
