- Must reside in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI
- Standard business hours with deadlines and project-driven priorities
- Collaborative work with IT and business stakeholders in a home-office setting
What You’ll Do
- Organize and lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects spanning one or more functional areas
- Clarify and drive project commitments, establishing clear accountability inside and outside the IT department
- Set and track project milestones, monitor progress, and realign schedules and expectations when delays or conflicts arise
- Establish and manage project communication plans, providing regular status updates to impacted teams and stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with business leaders to solve problems, build consensus, and keep objectives aligned
- Lead interdepartmental teams to complete projects on time, to spec, and within budget
- Maintain project and program timelines and support project closeout activities
- Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to support strategic project decisions
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating collaboration, innovation, and excellence
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Relevant project management experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years of related project management experience, including:
- Tracking and planning projects
- Working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment
- Gathering requirements and documenting project needs
- Experience with SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification preferred
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Project, and Atlassian Confluence/Jira (or similar)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple timelines and deliverables
- Ability to work under deadlines, stay accurate, adapt to change, and collaborate well with others
